The Kansas City Vocal Jazz Academy is a new event that KCKCC is hosting from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sept. 10 at the college. The event is open to anyone interested in vocal jazz, regardless of experience. The day will include breakout sessions about all things related to jazz singing (both solo and ensemble oriented). There will also be a mass jazz choir with rhythm section, which will perform a short set of tunes at a concert at the end of the day.
