WyCo Dumpster Days! October 21

The Unified Government’s Public Works Department is excited to announce the second WyCo Dumpster Days of 2022. Dumpster Days is an event to help residents recycle most common electronics waste and dispose of unwanted bulky items like old mattresses and furniture for free.

The event will be held at Wyandotte County Park (126th & State) in Bonner Springs, Kansas, on October 21 & 22 from 8 AM to Noon.

“The previous two Dumpster Days events have been very successful, so the Public Works team is excited to offer this great service to residents again,” said Dave Reno, Public Works' Public Information Officer. "Dumpster Days is an excellent opportunity for residents to get rid of unwanted bulky items like furniture for free."

Visitors will need to show proof of Wyandotte County residency with something displaying their name and address, like a driver’s license or utility bill.
