Community Center Application Fees Updated

After first review by the Cemetery, Parks, and Public Spaces  (CPPS) Board, the Edwardsville City Council adopted Ordinance No. 1061 at their January 9 regular meeting. Among other items, the ordinance updates Community Center rental fees. It has been a number of years since these fees were reviewed, and the updates bring them more in line with other public facilities rented in western Wyandotte County.

The new fee schedule is as follows:

Resident Fees:

  Sunday through Thursday:

     $150 deposit

$35 per hour (2 hour minimum)

  Friday through Saturday:

     $500 deposit

     $500 rental fee (all day)

$35 per hour security fee for alcohol consumption (if party has 150 people or less)

$70 per hour security fee for alcohol consumption (if party has more than 150 people)

Non-Resident Fees:

  Sunday through Thursday:

     $150 Deposit

$50 per hour (2 hour minimum)

  Friday through Saturday:

     $600 deposit

     $750 rental fee (all day)

$35 per hour security fee for alcohol consumption (if party has 150 or less)

$70 per hour security fee for alcohol consumption (if party has more than 150 people)

In addition to these changes, there is a new long-term rental structure for the Center. Rental agreements including more than one date can now be rented 10-dates at a time for events taking place Sunday through Thursdays. For residents, long-term rental fees include a one-time $500 deposit and $25 per hour for each hour. Non-resident fees for this use include a one-time $600 deposit and $40 per hour.
